LSU Student Union

The LSU Student Union serves as one of the busiest destinations on campus, welcoming thousands of students, faculty, prospective families, and visitors every day. My role was to design an interactive wayfinding experience that made navigating this complex, multi-level environment fast, intuitive, and accessible. Working within the Visix digital signage platform, I designed a touchscreen kiosk interface that helped users quickly locate campus services, meeting spaces, dining options, student organizations, and event destinations. The experience prioritized clear visual hierarchy, simplified navigation paths, ADA-conscious interaction patterns, and campus branding to reduce confusion while creating a welcoming first impression for every visitor. The final solution transformed a traditionally overwhelming building into an experience that felt easy to explore—allowing visitors to spend less time searching and more time engaging with everything the Student Union has to offer.
